Due to corona virus pandemic
Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals has shut down the operations of some of its plants at Vadodara Unit, namely Urea-l, Ammonia-III, Ammonium Sulphate-I, Melamine-11, Hx Crystal, MEK Oxime, WSF, SAG, Liquid Bio-fertilizer and laboratories of Tissue Culture and Soil Testing . The Phosphoric Acid and Ammonium Phosphate Sulphate (APS) plants will be operated at 50% capacity.Further, all the plants at Sikka Unit (District Jamnagar) have been completely shut down.
The restarting of the plants which have been shut down shall be decided on 31 March 2020 based on the overall situation and the policy of the State Government.
