Himadri Speciality hits record high on recent rally

Himadri Speciality Chemical rose 3.82% to Rs 96.50 at 12:21 IST on BSE, with the stock extending recent gains.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 204.42 points, or 0.65% at 31,800.48. The S&P BSE Mid-Cap index was up 160.75 points, or 1.05% at 15,412.85.

On the BSE, 2.10 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 2.02 lakh shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 96.80 so far during the day, which is also its record high. The stock hit a low of Rs 93.10 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 32 on 25 August 2016.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 24 August 2017, advancing 9.48% compared with the Sensex's 2.02% fall. The scrip had also outperformed the market over the past one quarter gaining 59.43% as against the Sensex's 4.27% rise. The scrip had also outperformed the market over the past one year advancing 172.18% as against the Sensex's 12.6% rise.

The mid-cap company has equity capital of Rs 41.84 crore. Face value per share is Rs 1.

Shares of Himadri Speciality Chemical rose 28.32% in ten trading sessions to its current market price of Rs 96.50, from a close of Rs 75.20 on 10 August 2017.

Himadri Speciality Chemical's net profit spurted 330.2% to Rs 50.03 crore on 77.3% increase in net sales to Rs 452.32 crore in Q1 June 2017 over Q1 June 2016.
