Services trade surplus improves 2.6% to US$ 5.97 billion in May 2018
As per the data released by the Reserve Bank of India, India's services exports increased 20.4% to US$ 16.17 billion in May 2018 over May 2017. Meanwhile, India's services imports jumped 34.1% to US$ 10.21 billion in May 2018.India's services trade surplus improved 2.6% to US$ 5.97 billion in May 2018 from US$ 5.82 billion in May 2017.
India's services trade surplus improved 9.7% to US$ 12.61 billion in April-May 2018 over a year ago, with 42.4% rise in services imports to US$ 21.12 billion. India's services exports increased 28.1% to US$ 33.74 billion in April-May 2018.
