With effect from 11 August 2016
International Paper APPM announced that workers employed in the manufacturing facility located in Unit: Rajahmundry resorted to illegal and unjustified strike on 10 August 2016 without any notice in violation of the provisions of Industrial Disputes Act and Certified Standing Orders. The striking workmen did not resume their duties in spite of repeated requests from the Management. Under these circumstances, the Management was constrained to shut down the manufacturing operations in Unit: Rajahmundry w.e.f. 11 August 2016 since there was no required man power to run the operations and to ensure the safety of the personnel and property of the Company.Powered by Capital Market - Live News
