Rupee falls low

At 61.22/23 per dollar

Indian rupee fell low on Thursday (20 March 2014) at 61.22/23 per dollar, against its previous close of 60.95/96 on Wednesday, due to increased demand for the US currency from banks and importers and weak opening in local equities.
