Rupee opens higher

At 62.88/89 per dollar

Rupee opened on Monday (18 November 2013) at 62.88/89 per dollar against its previous close of 63.11/12 on Thursday at the Interbank Foreign Exchange market on continued selling of the US currency by exporters and a higher opening in the equity market.
