Surana Telecom and Power provides business updates

Total solar power installed and under execution capacity is 30 MW

Surana Telecom and Power announced about the following:

1. Investment :

- The Company has made upto 51% of Equity Investment in M/s. Arhyama Energy. The said Company has proposed to setup 10MW Solar Power Plant at Kolanupaka Village, Aler Mandal, Nalgonda District, Telangana State. The total investment outlay is estimated to Rs.82.80 crore. The Project Company has entered into Long term PPA with a Multi National Company for supply of Power under Open Access Route. The said project will also be titled to REC benefit. Further the project is expected to commission by December, 2015.

2. Disinvestment:

- The Company has disinvested and exited its Equity shares of 49% in Joint Venture M/s. Radiant Alliance.

3. Appointment of Woman Director :

- The Company has appointed Vinita Surana as Additional Director.

Further, the Company is successfully running its 5 MW Solar Power Project situated at Gujarat Solar Park, Charanaka Village, Santapur Taluk, Patan District, Gujarat and 5 MW Solar Power Plant through its subsidiary M/s Surana Solar Systems at Shankapur Village, Shankarampet Mandal, Medak District, Telangana. Further 10 MW Solar Power Project is under construction/implementation through subsidiary Celestial Solar Solutions at Tingloor Village, Madhugiri Taluk, Tumkur District, Karnataka. This takes the total installed and under execution capacity to 30 MW in the Company and through Subsidiaries.
