Seeking exit from BIFR purview
Udaipur Cement Works announced that with reference to an application filed by the Company with the Hon'ble Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR) on 09 November 2015 seeking an exit from its purview, consequent to the demitting of Office by Hon'ble Member of BIFR, all hearing has been postponed till further orders. Accordingly, the aforesaid application shall be listed for hearing after reconstitution of the BIFR Bench.Further in the given circumstances, when the BIFR is not functioning due to non-availability of Hon'ble Member, the Company has filed a writ petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India praying for the writ Mandamus directing the Appellate Authority for Industrial Financial Reconstruction to consider and decide the aforesaid application filed in BIFR.
