Ucal Fuel Systems clocked volume of 5.95 lakh shares by 12:25 IST on BSE, a 27.97-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 21,000 shares. The stock rose 18.15% to Rs 118.50.
Jindal Saw notched up volume of 46.12 lakh shares, a 13.22-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3.49 lakh shares. The stock fell 0.24% to Rs 81.75.
Amtek Auto saw volume of 9.88 lakh shares, a 8.73-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.13 lakh shares. The stock rose 16.14% to Rs 190.65.
Amara Raja Batteries clocked volume of 1.78 lakh shares, a 6.84-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 26,000 shares. The stock rose 2.48% to Rs 712.50 after net profit rose 6.05% to Rs 100.30 crore on 31.51% increase in total income to Rs 1071.17 crore in Q2 September 2014 over Q2 September 2013. The result was announced during trading hours today, 11 November 2014.
8K Miles Software Services saw volume of 1.26 lakh shares, a 6.68-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 19,000 shares. The stock fell 5.13% to Rs 593.
