TV Today Network slumped 18.16% to Rs 208.50 at 11: 50 IST on BSE after the company's net profit rose 2.88% to Rs 13.20 crore on 21.78% rise in total income from operations (net) to Rs 111.68 crore in Q2 September 2014 over Q2 September 2013.
The Q2 result was announced after market hours on Monday, 10 November 2014.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 35.54 points or 0.13% at 27,910.27.
On BSE, so far 4.21 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 2.07 lakh shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 233.90 and a low of Rs 205.20 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 259 on 7 November 2014. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 96.05 on 30 January 2014.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 10 November 2014, advancing 17.1% compared with the Sensex's 6% rise. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, jumping 60.07% as against Sensex's 10.05% rise.
The mid-cap media firm has an equity capital of Rs 29.79 crore. Face value per share is Rs 5.
