UltraTech Cement clocked volume of 3.08 lakh shares by 12:48 IST on BSE, a 23.46-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 13,000 shares. The stock fell 0.27% to Rs 1,711.60 after net profit fell 38.46% to Rs 369.76 crore on 1.86% decline in total income to Rs 4885.99 crore in Q3 December 2013 over Q3 December 2012. The result was announced during trading hours today, 20 January 2014.
South Indian Bank notched up volume of 43.45 lakh shares, a 13.26-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3.28 lakh shares. The stock rose 3.46% to Rs 20.95.
Aditya Birla Nuvo saw volume of 53,000 shares, a 5.39-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 10,000 shares. The stock rose 0.46% to Rs 1,096.
Indoco Remedies clocked volume of 7.91 lakh shares, a 3.71-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2.13 lakh shares. The stock jumped 4.79% to Rs 116.
Power Grid Corporation of India saw volume of 16.08 lakh shares, a 2.39-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 6.72 lakh shares. The stock rose 0.46% to Rs 97.60.
