Volumes jump at Wabco India counter

Network 18 Media & Investments, Oberoi Realty, Balaji Amines and Pricol are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 31 October 2017.

Wabco India clocked volume of 97,000 shares by 14:15 IST on BSE, a 369.94-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 497 shares. The stock jumped 6.41% to Rs 6,585.

Network 18 Media & Investments notched up volume of 1.35 crore shares, a 69.87-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.94 lakh shares. The stock rose 5.18% to Rs 51.80.

Oberoi Realty saw volume of 6.58 lakh shares, a 36.48-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 18,000 shares. The stock gained 3.09% to Rs 471.05.

Balaji Amines saw volume of 2.53 lakh shares, a 26.43-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 10,000 shares. The stock surged 16.94% to Rs 518.50 after net profit rose 34.2% to Rs 29.16 crore on 16.9% rise in net sales to Rs 201.19 crore in Q2 September 2017 over Q2 September 2016. The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 30 October 2017.

Pricol clocked volume of 7.7 lakh shares, a 17.79-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 43,000 shares. The stock jumped 12.98% to Rs 100.95.
