18 trains delayed as fog covers Delhi

At least 18 Delhi-bound trains were running late as the national capital witnessed a foggy Thursday morning, the Northern Railway said.

According to Met Office, Delhi's minimum temperature settled at 6.9 degrees Celsius.

"The sky will remain mainly clear in the day," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said, adding the maximum temperature may hover around 17 degrees Celsius.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 87 percent. The visibility at the same time stood at 1,200 meters, the weather office said.

Wednesday's maximum temperature settled at 15.1 degrees Celsius, five notches below the average for this time of the season.
