A 70-year-old man was found murdered in his flat in the national capital Friday evening, police said.
Harjeet Singh was found dead in his west Delhi Shivaji Enclave flat by a neighbour who informed police around 8 p.m.
"Singh's hands and legs were tied with a rope. No other external injury was found on his body. Prima facie, it appears to be a case of murder," a police officer said.
Police said it did not seem like whoever murdered the man had plotted robbery. The officer did not reveal if there were other people living in the flat.
