In his upcoming film "A Gentleman", Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra has scenes that could remind viewers of Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia starrer "Bobby", say directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K.

The cast and crew of "A Gentleman" gathered here on Thursday for an informal chat with the media to show a glimpse of the film in a mini trailer.

Sidharth's character Gaurav loves to cook food.

Mentioning one of the scenes, Raj said: "Have you guys noticed the 'Bobby' reference in the scene where he (the character Gaurav) comes out with atta while making roti?"

Adding to that, Sidharth said: "Yes, my character Gaurav is a very interesting, sweet character at one side who loves to cook, clean up his house, etc like a typical Delhi Punjabi boy. On the other hand, there is a different shade where he is doing a lot of action."

Asked if he is playing a double role in the film, Sidharth said: "It is not inherently a double role, but there are two sides of the character. One side of the character wants a simple, happy life with a nice house, family and he has a sense of humour.

"The other side of the character is outlandish, aggressive and one who jumps out of a 60-storey building."

The trailer of the film will be released on the internet on July 10 and the film slated to release on August 25.
