Adam Levine now sports mohawk

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine isn't afraid of experimenting with his hairstyle and has now given himself a punk rock-style mohawk makeover.

Levine posted a photograph of himself rocking the new hairdo on Instagram, reports aceshowbiz.com.

While the style was not really surprising for Levine, who has earlier experimented with platinum blonde and even a bald look, it is apparently not what he expected.

"This is what happens when you cut your own s**t," Levine captioned the image, which showed him holding a razor while he looked at himself in the mirror.

His pregnant wife Behati Prinsloo, who stood beside him to take the image, also posted the photograph on her Instagram account and captioned it: "Baby daddy".

Levine and Prinsloo are currently expecting their first child.
