The auditing of votes cast in the Afghan presidential poll is over.
"The 100 percent of votes auditing process was completed Thursday night," Xinhua quoted Tolo TV as saying Friday.
The Afghan Election Commission Wednesday said that 94 percent of all the ballot boxes have been recounted, audited and the process would be completed Thursday.
The commission has not given the exact date for the announcement of the final result.
Since none of the eight presidential contenders secured over 50 percent of some seven million votes cast in the April 5 presidential polls, the two frontrunners Abdullah Abdullah and Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai went for a runoff June 14, which caused delay in the result.
