Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy Wednesday congratulated Hyderabad-born Satya Nadella on being appointed the CEO of global software giant Microsoft.
The chief minister, in his message, said every Indian should be proud of Nadella, who has made a great mark in the world of software.
"He made Telugu people proud," said Kiran Reddy while expressing his happiness over Nadella's elevation.
The Microsoft's board Tuesday named 46-year-old Nadella as the CEO.
The chief minister also noted Nadella was educated in Hyderabad Public School (HPS) and was also a member of the HPS cricket team.
"The younger generation should get motivated by such personalities," he said.
Kiran Reddy also did his schooling from the HPS and was a cricketer in his school and college days.
