Anirudh a youth sensation: Vignesh Shivan

Director Vignesh Shivan, who recently directed composer Anirudh Ravichander in Tamil music video "Chance-Ey-Illa", says his popularity among the younger audiences has made him a "youth sensation".

"Anirudh is phenomenal. His popularity among the youth is to be seen and heard to be believed. The evidence of his growing popularity was evident when the crowd went into raptures when he performed a few dancing steps. He's a youth sensation," Vignesh said in a statement.

"These are the indications that the musical album saga has come to stay in Tamil music industry as well," he added.

Vignesh, who had also penned the lyrics of the single, said: "My idea is next to make a musical film which could be related by every individual".

Vignesh's next Tamil directorial is "Naanum Rowdy Dhaana and it will feature music by Anirudh.
