Telugu thriller "Maaya", which released recently and has been received well, will soon be remade in Kannada.
"The Kannada remake rights have been bought by Sreedhar Reddy and Murugappan. They had in the past remade Telugu film 'Prema Katha Chitram' in Kannada as well," the film's producer Madhura Sreedhar, told IANS.
Harshvardhan Rane-starrer "Maaya" is about extra-sensory perception and features newcomers Avantika Mishra, Sushma Raj and Nandini Rai in important roles.
The film is directed by National award-winning filmmaker Neelakanta.
