Antony undergoes minor surgery

Defence Minister A.K. Antony Sunday underwent a minor surgery at the Army Research and Referral hospital here, an official release said.

"The defence minister underwent a minor prostate surgery at the Army Research and Referral Hospital here today (Sunday). He would remain in the hospital for a couple of days," it said.

Antony, 73, has been defence minister since 2006.
