The approach road leading up to terminal 1D of the IGI airport here has been temporarily diverted due to ongoing construction work, an airport official said on Thursday.
According to the Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), which manages the IGI airport, the approach road had to be diverted due to construction work for a metro station at the terminal by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).
"DMRC, DIAL and Delhi Traffic Police have made joint arrangements for vehicular movements on the other leading roads due to this diversion," said a DIAL spokesperson.
"Adequate signage to make aware the commuters have been put up and additional lights have been installed in order to minimise inconvenience to passengers and all other airport users."
