A married woman was allegedly raped by an autorickshaw driver and an Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) constable here in Badshahpur area. The driver has been arrested while the constable is on the run, police said Friday.
Auto driver Mahinder, 26, allegedly raped a 28-year-old woman after taking her to a house on the pretext of providing her a loan from a firm.
Mahinder took her to a room in a house and raped her Thursday evening. After that, IRB constable Balkrishan raped her, police said.
Constable Balkrishan let her go Friday noon after threatening her of dire consequences if she told anyone.
A case of rape has been registered. Mahinder was arrested late Friday evening from his house in Badshahpur.
