B-Town all 'heart and prayers' for earthquake victims

Bollywood celebrities like John Abraham and Anil Kapoor on Monday prayed for the victims of the earthquake that hit India's northeast region.

The earthquake, measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale, jolted northeastern states and West Bengal early on Monday, killing five people in Manipur and injuring more than 60 across the region.

Here's what the celebrities tweeted:

Anil Kapoor: Began the day by praying for those affected by the earthquake in NE and for the family of #PathankotAttack martyr Lt. Col. Niranjan.

John Abraham: Devastated by the earthquake in the Northeast of India. My prayers are with my people in a place I consider home. #earthquake #NorthEast

Adnan Sami: My heart and prayers go to the families affected by the earthquake near Manipur.
