Two- and three-wheeler major Bajaj Auto Ltd on Wednesday said it logged one per cent sales volume growth last month.
In a filing in BSE, the company said it sold 356,168 units (motorcycles 307,892 units, commercial vehicles 48,276 units) last month as against 352,822 units (motorcycles 308,733 units, commercial vehicles 44,089 units) sold in October 2015.
The slide in exports of motorcycles pulled down the monthly sales numbers for the company.
Bajaj Auto sold 307,892 motorcycles (domestic 212,997 units, exports 94,895 units) last month as against 308,733 units (domestic 202,042 units, exports 106,691 units) logged during October 2015.
