The Bharatiya Janata Party team, led by national vice president Balbir Punj, will consist of former cricketer and parliamentarian Kirti Azad, state co-in-charge Siddarth Nath Singh and minority cell head Abdul Rashid Ansari.
The team will visit Ilambazar where party activist Rahim Sheikh was killed allegedly by Trinamool men June 7.
A five-member delegation, led by vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, visited Sandeshkhali in North 24 Parganas district May 31, where over two dozen party workers were injured in an attack allegedly orchestrated by Trinamool members.
