City-based private electricity company CESC Ltd said on Thursday that its net consolidated profit during the 2014-15 fiscal declined by 59.55 percent at Rs.199 crore against Rs.492 crore during 2013-14.
The company's net consolidated revenue during the period under review, however, rose by 9.45 percent at Rs.11,067 crore compared with its earnings of Rs.10,111 crore during 2014- 15.
During the fourth quarter from January to March, its net profit was up marginally at Rs.244 crore against Rs.243 crore in the corresponding period in 2014.
In the last quarter of 2014-15, its net consolidated revenue stood at Rs.1,416 crore - up by 13.64 percent compared with Rs.1,246 crore in the corresponding period of 2013-14.
