English Premier League champions Chelsea have began their pre-season training for their title defence next season.
Coach Jose Mourinho and his boys are here for a pre-season tour south of the border in the United States, where they will play New York Red Bulls on July 23, before taking on Paris Saint Germain and FC Barcelona, reports dailymail.co.uk on Thrsday.
All of Chelsea's big guns - Diego Costa, John Terry, Cesc Fabregas and Thibaut Courtois - with new signing Asmir Begovic turned up for their first practice session of the season in their training gears here on Thursday.
Chelsea will play their first English Premier league match of the season against Swansea on August 8, where they will be hoping to get their title defence off to a positive start.
