China won two more titles and three silver medals at the FIG Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships here Saturday evening.
The Chinese women's tumbling team of Jia Fangfang, Chen Lingxi, Cai Qizi and Zhang Yuanyuan gained a total of 104.400 points to beat Russia (99.600) to the second place, and Britain came third with 98.000, Xinhua reported.
Dong Dong won the second gold for China on the third day of the competition, gaining 60.795 points at men's individual trampoline final. The silver medal went to his teammate Tu Xiao who had 60.580 points, while Sergei Azarian came third with 58.900.
Dong, who Friday was a member of the winning team in trampoline together with Tu Xiao, Gao Lei and He Yuxiang, said that he was very satisfied with his performance in the final and he did his best at the key moment.
Another silver medal for China was won by the men's tumbling team, which got 109.900 points and was overtaken by only 0.800 points by Russia. The bronze went to Britain with 106.400 points.
Li Dan and Zhong Xingping grabbed the third silver for China at women's synchronised trampoline final. They gained 47.100 points, while Britain got the gold with 47.500 points, and Ukraine grabbed the bronze with 46.700 points.
The US won the gold medals in the other two finals Saturday evening -- women's double mini-trampoline, and men's double minitrampoline.
On Sunday, the last day of the championship, three women's finals will be held, including double mini trampoline, tumbling and individual trampoline competitions, and also three men's finals -- double mini trampoline, tumbling, and synchronised trampoline.
