It was a cloudy Sunday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
The city received 1.4 mm rainfall till 8.30 a.m.
According to the Met department, the city is likely to receive more rain towards the afternoon.
The maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 33 degrees Celsius.
"The city will see rain towards the afternoon. The sky is likely to remain cloudy through out the day," said an official of the India Meteorological Department(IMD).
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 92 per cent.
