An arrest was made on Wednesday in the shocking case of unidentified men stabbing a metro staffer at the Rajender Nagar station in New Delhi and robbing him of rupees 12 lakh.
The process of recovering the money is underway and according to sources, the arrested person is an ex-staffer from the metro station.
M K Meena, Joint Commissioner of Police of the New Delhi range will address a press conference today at 3 pm at the boat club here regarding solving of the robbery case.
Meanwhile in the wake of the heist, Delhi Metro commuters have been ordered by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) to not cover their facing using surgical masks or mufflers or any kind of cloth.
The two men who had attacked and stabbed the metro staffer and looted from the control room were seen wearing masks during their entry and exit at the station in the CCTV footage.
