Cricket: Orissa CA down fighting Assam

Orissa CA eked out a six-wicket win over Assam CA to pick up six points in the KSCA All-India cricket tournament here on Saturday.

Orissa made heavy weather of a modest target, but eventually scrambled home after losing four wickets to record a slender victory.

Also gaining full points were KSCA XI who overcame Himachal CA and KSCA president's XI who drubbed Tripura CA by an innings.

In other matches, Dr DY Patil team from Mumbai, Tamil Nadu CA and Vidarbha CA won to pick up six points apiece.
