A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper was injured in a petrol bomb attack here on Monday, police said.
Police said the attack on CRPF personnel took place in the city's Safa Kadal.
"A CRPF jawan sustained minor injuries when miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at CRPF personnel deployed on law and order duty in Safa Kadal area of Srinagar. The trooper was discharged from the hospital after first aid," a police officer said.
Authorities had imposed restrictions in Safa Kadal on Monday to foil protests called by separatist leaders.
