Delhi government on Thursday asked three private power distribution companies (discoms) to furnish information about former DERC and power department officials of the state government working for them.
"Provide details regarding any relationship of BYPL/BRPL/TPDDL with any former senior officers of the DERC including its chairman, members or officers of the department of power of Delhi government, since inception of your company till today," said a letter to the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL), BSES Rajdhani and BSES Yamuna, the department of power.
"Information in respect of such former officers who have/had relations with any of your group company is also requested," it added.
The CEOs of the discoms have also been asked to reveal the nature of the employment of the officers in their companies.
