Delhi minister cautions on waterborne diseases

Delhi Health Minsiter A.K. Walia Friday stressed the need for utmost caution and a high level of preparedness to combat the outbreak of water and vector borne diseases during the current weather conditions.

He warned that the weather is conducive to malaria, dengue, cholera, gastroenteritis and typhoid.

He advised people to take precautionary measures to keep such diseases under control.

Walia was reviewing the situation on water and vector borne diseases in Delhi at a meeting attended by health officials.
