Pop star Demi Lovato, who never shies away from experimenting with her looks, has now chopped off her locks.
The singer unveiled her new bob haircut with a photograph on social networking site Twitter, reports eonline.com.
"Just went shorter!!! only the best from @RiawnaCapri at @NineZeroOne," tweeted Lovato alongside the picture.
"It was definitely not planned, (Demi's) flying out today, and wanted it before she left," said Riawna Capri, co-owner of Nine Zero One Salon.
Capri further said that Lovato had another celebrity's tresses in mind when it came to figuring out what she wanted to do with her hair. Actress Julianne Hough's old haircut was a huge inspiration for Lovato's new hairdo.
"It's short on one side, and longer on the other side. One side is about 3 inches longer than the other side. The short side touches her shoulder, and the long side goes just past her shoulders. It's that perfectly disheveled hair," Capri said.
