After getting customers' feedback through an interactive online interface, Bharti Airtel on Thursday said it has upgraded over 9,000 sites at various locations and optimised over 30,000 existing sites till date to resolve network-related issues.
India's leading telecommunications service provider said its "Open Network" initiative has received "good response" from customers across the country.
Launched in June, the initiative made public its entire mobile network information to customers through an interactive online interface and asked them for their feedback to improve the network.
"We believe that with this initiative, we have made a small but positive beginning towards improving our network and hope that going forward more customers will join us," said company's MD & CEO (India & South Asia), Gopal Vittal.
