Veteran actor Dharmendra's "wonderful part of our family" Sage, a retriever, passed away on Monday.

The news was shared by the actor's wife and actress-politician Hema Malini on Twitter.

In a series of tweets, she wrote: "Our darling retriever Sage left us this morning. Such a wonderful part of our family, so loving and loved by all. Words cannot express our deep grief."

Hema shared that the pet was very close to her family.

"He was a complete part of our lives, so handsome, playful and always prancing around us. He has gone and it tears us to know we will never see him.

"It's so tough when a pet who has been an important part of your life is suddenly not there any more. We are not able to cope easily with this loss," she said.

She also shared a photograph of Sage along with their another pet Gipsy.

Omung Kumar begins 'Sarbjit' shooting

"Mary Kom" fame director Omung Kumar has started shooting his next directorial venture "Sarbjit", which stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda and Richa Chadha.

The film is based on Sarabjit Singh, an Indian farmer who was convicted of terrorism and spying in Pakistan and was sentenced to death. He was attacked by inmates at a prison in Lahore in April 2013 and died a few days later.

Omung took to Twitter on Monday to share the news with his fans.

"#SARBJIT shoot starts today @Vanita_ok #AishwaryaRai @RandeepHooda @RichaChadha_ @DarshanKumaar @SandeepsinghOne," he tweeted.

'Pulkit Samrat looks cute, sleepy headed'

Filmmaker Divya Khosla Kumar, who has directed Pulkit Samrat in the upcoming romantic drama film "Sanam Re", says the actor looks cute when he is asked to shoot in the early hours of the day.

Pulkit, who stars alongside Urvashi Rautela, Yami Gautam and Rishi Kapoor in the film, took to Twitter on Monday to share his excitement about the trailer release date on "Sanam Re".

"Cant wait to share #SanamReTrailer with all. @iamDivyaKhosla please never make me click in the a.m. again. I look sleepy," he posted.

To that, Divya replied: "You look cute sleepy headed that's why I shot the entire film with my team waking you up at five in the morning #SanamRe."

The trailer of the film will be out on Thursday.
