Didn't force Satna into marriage: Karthik

Film producer and distributor Karthik has said that he didn't force actress Satna Titus into marrying him.

Satna, who made her Tamil acting debut with "Pichaikkaran" earlier this year, and Karthik registered their marriage in a hush-hush manner.

"We've been seeing each other for some time and wished to get married. However, our parents were against our decision. So we decided to register our marriage, for now, and plan to get married in an official ceremony early next year," Karthik told IANS.

Satna's mother told a Tamil publication that Karthik forced her daughter into marrying him.

Denying the allegation, he said: "We registered our marriage with each other's consent. I didn't force her into marrying me. We hope to convince our parents and get married with their blessings."

Karthik is a partner in KR Films, the company which released "Pichaikkaran" in Tamil Nadu.
