The dismembered body of an unidentified person was found near Okhla in south Delhi on Sunday, police said.
According to police, the body parts (only head and limbs were found) of an unidentified person were found on Sunday morning in Jahanpanah city forest area, near Okhla. The incident came to light after the forest's caretaker informed police.
"At around 10.30 a.m., the caretaker of the Jahanpanah city forest informed us about unidentified disfigured body. We seized the body and started investigation, " Police said.
"Though the identity of the victim could not be ascertained but the body appears to be around 10 days old," a police official said, adding that the body has been sent to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for post-mortem.
