In its ongoing probe into the leak of government documents from the coal, power and petroleum ministries, Delhi Police on Monday called a senior official of GMR Energy Limited for questioning.
Rajbir Singh, who is the manager (corporate relations) at GMR Energy Limited, was called by the Crime Branch team of Delhi Police for questioning.
"We have called a senior-ranked officer from GMR Energy Limited for questioning... many people are still on the run. We are looking for those working in two other consultancy agencies. We are analysing the documents seized from the arrested people," said Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi.
Police said Singh has been called for questioning in connection with the document leak case relating to petroleum and other ministries, which was unearthed on the night of February 17, and led to the subsequent arrest of two former multi-tasking staff (MTS) employees of Shastri Bhawan.
So far, 16 people have been arrested and Delhi Police have registered two FIRs - the first one on February 17 and the second on February 20 - in connection with the leak of classified documents.
