Borussia Dortmund defender Marc Bartra underwent successful surgery to his arm and hand which were hurt in a bomb attack on the German football club's bus ahead of the Champions League game against Monaco, the club president confirmed on Wednesday.
"We've heard that everything went well," Reinhard Rauball told German media on Wednesday, reports Efe.
Bartra was the only Dortmund player to be wounded when three explosive devices went off on Tuesday night as the team's bus was passing by on its way to Signal Iduna park to play the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
The Spaniard arrived last summer from Barcelona to Dortmund with a contract valid until 2020.
