Actor Vishwas Kini is elated with the success of "Veere Di Wedding", and says that puts him in a more comfortable position.

Vishwas is seen as a rich Delhi guy in "Veere Di Wedding", a film which is co-produced by Rhea Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor and Nikhil Dwivedi.

"People are loving my character and I am getting a lot of messages appreciating my portrayal as Bhandari," Vishwas told IANS over the phone from Mumbai.

The movie has drawn a lot of interest especially as it is Kareena Kapoor Khan's first film since she became a mother, and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja's first movie to release since her wedding. For Swara Bhasker, it is a different zone that she is stepping into. Shikha Talsania also makes the right noise in the film, directed by Shashanka Ghosh.

They are cast in a coming-of-age story revolving around the lives of four friends who deal with the trials and tribulations regarding family acceptance, marriage and societal perceptions in the modern-day world. The girls openly talk about their sex lives and hurl abuses.

"A lot of it is hard work paying off. But for me since it is my first film a lot of it has to do with the acceptance of audience. If we count the audience as one, they say yes or no. And for me it was a big yes."

Will he be careful while picking his next project?

"I am always willing to take risks. Instead of being more careful, it is convenient now. There are a lot of big filmmakers, whom I can approach. It is now easier to get to them than before and talk to them.

"They have seen my work. I feel I am in a more comfortable place than before to choose my next part."

And Vishwas is in no mood to slow down.

"I have been on a break for the last eight years. I am not thinking of a break right now," he said, adding that he is going through some scripts.

"I will make an announcement soon," he said.
