"Zero Dark Thirty" actor Edgar Ramirez has been roped in to star alongside Matthew McConaughey in the upcoming mining drama film "Gold".
Directed by Stephen Gaghan, the film is set to go on floors in June in New York, New Mexico and Thailand, reports variety.com.
In the film, Ramirez will play a geologist whom McConaughey's prospector teams with to find gold in the uncharted Indonesian jungle.
Patrick Massett and John Zinman have written the script of the film.
