Egypt assured of World University Squash title

The top two seeds, Egyptians Mazen Sabri and Zahed Mohammed, took their appointed places in the men's final while the women's title round will be between Camilla Tomlinson of Britain and top seed Olga Ertlova of Czech Republic in the individual competitions of the World University Squash Championship.

In the semi-finals played here Wednesday, Zahed overcame Pakistan's Saqib Yousaf 11-6, 7-11, 11-1, 11-7 while Sabri knocked out Britain's Eddie Charlton 13-11, 11-7, 11-9.

Later, Tomlinson upset second seed Farah Abdel Megid (Egypt) 10-12, 11-9, 11-3, 11-7 while Ertlova ousted Alexandra Fuller (South Africa) 11-7, 11-3, 11-5.
