At least eight live bombs were recovered from a passenger train in Bihar Monday, police said.
"Police have recovered eight live bombs from a bogie of a passenger train" in Kishanganj district, Government Railway Police (GRP) officer Anil Kumar Singh said here.
A case was lodged and the GRP launched an investigation, he added.
"No arrest has been made in this connection but we strongly suspect that the bombs were on way to deliver to some people," Singh said.
He, however, refused to say whether the train was the target. "All these are matter of inquiry," he said.
Last week, 12 bogies of Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express derailed in Bihar's Saran district, killing four people and injuring 22 others.
