West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday claimed her party Trinamool Congress was using the Facebook 360 degree technology in the ongoing assembly polls, a first for any election in India.

"I am happy to share with all of you the new Facebook 360 degree technology that is being used for the very first time ever, for any election campaign in India," she posted on Facebook.

The Trinamool Congress supremo also urged social media users to view clippings of an election rally using the technology.
