Facebook has blocked the account of a 12-year-old boy from Georgia who posted a YouTube video that questions US President Barack Obama's love for the country.

CJ Pearson, the self-proclaimed conservative, defended former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani for his recent comments that Obama does not love US in the three-minute video that has gone viral.

"Today I just want to applaud Mayor Rudy Giuliani for his comments about President Barack Obama," Pearson was seen saying in the video.

After posting the video on the social networking site, Pearson's account was locked due to "suspicious activity".

While the firm announced the move is because of his age as Facebook requires users to be at least 13- years-old, Pearson believes the social media site has singled him out, NY Daily News reported.

"Due to the fact that approximately 7.5 million kids (under the age of 13) log in to Facebook, I would most definitely have to say the removal of my account was due to partisan politics, rather than actually upholding their actual Terms of Service agreement," he told the Daily News.

The seventh-grader posted the three-minute video Feb 21 that has been viewed by more than 1.6 million people and led to his appearance on Fox News.

In the video, the boy accuses President of not loving his country but instead misaddressing the terrorist group Islamic State's (IS) motives and stealing from the American people, the report added.

According to Giuliani, he is getting death threats at his office in the wake of his controversial comments. Giuliani made remarks about Obama during a private dinner in midtown Manhattan featuring Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker last month.
