Quique Sanchez Flores has become the new chief coach of Espanyol for the next three football seasons, the La Liga club announced on Thursday.

Flores, who coached Watford for one season, will be officially presented on June 13 at the stadium of Espanyol, reports Efe.

The former Atletico Madrid, Benfica, Getafe and Valencia coach comes as replacement for Constantin Galca and will sign a three-year contract.

As a player, the former defender played for Spain 15 times and represented Valencia, Real Madrid and Zaragoza.
