Four members of a Bangladeshi gang involved in numerous cases of thefts and robberies in different Indian states were arrested here, police said Wednesday.
Sagar alias Jahangir, 35, Suhag alias Rustam, 27, Ajibul Khan, 21, and Sakir Ali, 21 were arrested Tuesday from near Rithala metro station in north Delhi on a tip-off.
According to police, the four targeted warehouses storing electrical appliances particularly computer peripherals and were operating in the national capital region as well as Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.
The four had been living in the NCR for the past few years and had formed a gang while serving time inside jail for similar offences.
Police have recovered a truck bearing fake registration number, some computer peripherals, mobile phones etc.
Another six members of the gang are still at large, said a police officer.
